I worked as a Citizens Advice as a paid welfare rights advisor for several years recently. I am an academic lawyer - I hold three Law degrees, two at MA and M Phil level. I am also a budding published story writer - my first published short story reached the Top 100 in two categories on Amazon this Summer. I intend to write some more now! I have been teaching since 2000. My main PGCE placement had been at Eltham College in London. I am a calm and patient tutor and can quickly discern what a student may need more work on.
If a student is not sure what s/he needs to work on in a subject, the first lesson will be diagnostic. I plan according to the gaps in knowledge/understanding if these are not already identified.
Remote tutoring enables students to go at their own pace using the latest technology in the learning process.
