GCSE Maths A-Level Maths GCSE Physics A Level Further Maths
I am a current Physics Undergraduate at KCL and having attained excellent grades at GCSE (6 9s and 3 8s) as well as at A-Level (4 A*s), I believe that I am in a good position to help students attain high grades and overcome problems they have within these subjects. Although I currently study Physics, I am very comfortable (and perhaps more!) with my maths skills and can also provide any insight into what university could be like too. I hope to help students reach their potential so they can take their next steps in their future careers, whether that is higher education or work.
Depending on the student, my sessions would be
around 1 hour, where I will go through concepts and problems to help guide
students through questions. I may also provide exam questions to help prepare
for exams and will point out key tips when trying to solve longer problems.
When possible, I will try to use real-life examples,demonstrations (applicable
to Physics) and videos to inspire young people and provide some sort of
enjoyment with the subject.
In the long-term, I would identify and areas of
weakness and help improve those. If the student is willing, I may also go
outside the syllabus to help improve students’ understanding of concepts, as
although not in the syllabus, they can often be useful in providing insight
into why certain methods work, making them easier to understand and remember.
At the end, I will go through any questions they have, whether on the subject
or university etc.
