Hi! My name is Ramya and I've recently completed my A-Levels in the following subjects: Biology, Psychology and RS. I am fascinated by the study of the human mind and its subsequent and particularly strong influence on behaviour as well as emotion, and therefore wish to continue learning about human psychology as an undergraduate. My passion for the subject combined with my knowledge and experience, gained throughout my studies, will provide you with an excellent foundation.
I have previously studied the AQA specification and would therefore specialise in the topics found within this exam board. My lessons will consist of a 45 minute teaching session wherein I present the topic to the student in an interesting and simple manner, engaging their attention and in turn helping comprehension and long-term retention. I like to allocate the last 15 minutes of the session for exam practice as I know exactly how daunting and challenging the exam experience can be and it is therefore crucial to become familiar with the type of questions released and constantly practice. They're not wrong when they say practice makes things perfect! I also like to clarify any questions or doubts related to the session at this point so that students don't leave the lesson feeling confused. I in fact want you to walk out feeling confident about yourself, your subject knowledge and abilities! .
