I am currently a university undergraduate, who has had 5 years of tutoring experience. I have studied Maths, Economics and French till A Level. Hi! I'm Aasha, an Accounting and Financial Management undergraduate with 5 years of tutoring experience. I studied Maths, Economics and French at A-Level and achieve three As. Having encountered the experience of both a student and tutor/teacher, I am aware of the revision tips and study techniques that will help you achieve amazing results. I also know and can certainly relate to what students look for and appreciate in their tutors, and I hope to embody these qualities during my sessions. Furthermore, as a tutor, I have notice the common errors students usually make and wish to help you avoid those to excel in your exams.
My sessions last an hour. The start of the lesson involves me asking the student whether there is anything specific they'd like to cover; I prefer to work based on the student's needs instead of working by the curriculum as in that way they are able to cover the topics they feel they are struggling with the most. Then the next 45-50 minutes involve me teaching the topic which could include going over past exam questions or notes. Then in the last 5-10 minutes, I like to recap and consolidate the content learned which sometimes also involve getting the student to independently attempt an exam question.
