  • How to enroll my child at Merit Tutors?

    Register your interest by simply submitting a student registration form and we will invite your child for a free assessment, enabling us to identify the correct course of action for your child.

  • What subject can my child study at Merit Tutors?

    Whilst we mainly focus on the core subjects (English, Maths and Science), we can also accommodate for less popular subjects (such as History, Economics). Speak to us today and we will arrange a lesson!

  • What are the hours like for sessions?

    Onsite group sessions run on weekdays from 5 PM to 7 PM and on weekends sessions are between 9 AM to 6 PM. However, one to one session’s timings are quite flexible. It can be arranged at any time that is convenient to both tutor and student.

  • How long is each session?

    Each session is 2 hours long per subject, giving us sufficient time to teach and practice a topic thoroughly.

  • Can I register for A-Levels?

    At Merit Tutors, we understand the crucial level of importance A level exams play when it comes to securing a place at top universities. A Level content can be difficult to grasp therefore we do offer A Level lessons too! Our lessons are based around your child’s unique learning needs, helping them prosper in their education.

  • Who are your tutors?

    We can assure you that Merit Tutors is run by qualified school teachers. We take pride in the calibre of tutors we employ. Along with our qualified teachers with a specialism in the subject they are teaching, Merit Tutors also recruits dedicated and high achieving university students from top Russell group universities to enhance your child’s academic development.

  • How do you ensure quality?

    At Merit Tutors, the academic achievement and background knowledge of the teacher is thoroughly considered prior to recruitment. All tutors are trained to ensure students are benefiting from the quality of the lessons delivered.

  • Can we arrange online lessons?

    One to one session, where the tutor can solely focus on your child and their unique learning needs, can be arranged online as well as onsite. Speak to us today to discuss the arrangements.

  • Will there be homework?

    Homework will be assigned to students each session to consolidate the learning accomplished during the lessons. All homework will be marked by the tutor and will be returned with detailed feedback.

  • What happens if my child misses a lesson?

    Catch up lessons will be arranged for any missed lessons during the week or during holidays.

  • How many children are there in one group?

    There will be up to 5 children in one group, working at similar levels, to maintain efficiency and creating a positive learning environment.
